Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of ailments and conditions. From physical pain due to injury, all the way through to infertility and digestive disorders. 
Your first visit is where we will discuss your treatment plan and goals, followed by a treatment. During this visit, needles can be placed in the head, face, ears and body. 
Please keep in mind, the more chronic a condition, the longer it can take to resolve. Diet, Lifestyle and Constitution always come into play in your healing and recovery as well.

How does it work...
Acupuncture helps by stimulating the CNS (central nervous system) to release endorphins (the body's natural pain-killer), and serotonin (a brain chemical involved with mood).
Acupuncture boosts the body's own ability to heal via specific points on the channels (Meridians). These points stimulate something known as Qi (pronounced 'chi'), which is the body's Life Force. 
These biochemical changes in the body can help stimulate your natural healing abilities and promote both physical and emotional well-being.
